Meeting with Kootenay Columbia Film Region liason

Please join us on Thursday May 10th at 5:30pm here at the Fernie Chamber of Commerce for a meeting with Joanna Maratta- community liason for the Kootenay Columbia Film Region.

She will be discussing film production in general, the role of the regional film commission, what to do when a film comes to town- how to register your property, how to negotiate compensation, and where to go to put a resume in to work with the film.

Fernie is quickly becoming a go-to community for film production, and we will be seeing more of it taking place in our comunity in the future. Lets educate ourselves now & be prepared so we can all enjoy the experience and benefit from it together.
