Taste of Fernie Business Sign-up

The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce we are organizing a Taste of Fernie.

When - Thursday, November 16, 2017, 5pm - 9pm

Where - In your restaurant or shop

Business Participation:

1. Tell the Chamber you are in 
2. Provide a free sample size feature for guests with tickets on Nov. 16 from 5-9.

Open to restaurants and retails shops.
Free to participate for Chamber members.
$40 admin fee for non-members.

How it Works:

1. Public buys tickets
2. Public comes to your restaurant or shop (listed on ticket)
3. You check off your business on ticket and provide free sample to ticket holder
4. Public continues through the list of participating businesses as more come into your shop or restaurant
5. Tickets are good for one sample only and only for the hours of the event 

There will only be 100 tickets sold and that is the maximum number of free samples you would give away if every ticket holder came to your shop. Based on last year's feedback, 95 tickets were sold and most businesses saw between 70 and 75 ticket holders. 

Businesses are encouraged to have a feature menu of sample items to compliment the free feature being provided. 

What the Chamber will do: 

  • Event marketing and promotion (Fernie Fix, The Drive, e-know.ca, social media)
  • Provide you a poster identifying you as a participant
  • Ticket design and printing (working with Clawhammer on ticket design)
  • Sell tickets to the public, only 100 tickets available
  • Create and promote a website listing businesses and their feature offering.
